well it's been a while since I posted anything new, so here it goes, in one sentence...or more, I'll write what has happened in our happy life :P
28 April: We got what we wanted yeah!!! work was suspended on the premises, so we could work from home... initially that sounded great... so I woke up late and went to the Campus to do a backup of some important files, then we went to the supermarket and buy plenty stock, the crazies were saying that maybe food supplies would be scarce, and so, we obliged... :P
29 April: first day working @home, what did I discover? working at home is not what I had imagined it to be....I'm not used to work with this laptop and was missing my SUPER powerful desktop...everything takes longer home because you're easily distracted by anything, from taking a peek at your bed and longing for an extra five minutes of sleep, to the TV, etc etc you get the drill...oh and this day I went for the birthday-dinner-party of my mother-in-law :P you gotta love those hyphens hehehe Swine flu alert got to level five! Yikes!
30 April: we had a virtual meeting... which represented more work for me... happy children's day? mmm here we celebrate kids this day, don't know if it is celebrated elsewhere. I felt sick, worried about this stupid swine flu...because I had runny nose, nausea, dizzyness, lack of apetite, etc and I didn't go out, because I feared it might be contagious... or whatever, I was just plain tired.
May 1st: no work makes Aldo happy :P well this day everything started to go back to normal, since they said swine flu was not as lethal. We had lunch with my grandpa and a visitor from outside...a Nun! ehehe we drove around and watched some TV at fer's home.
May 2nd: We are bored...what can we do if everything is closed?? we got in TV-Series mood :) we hugged and don't know if anyone saw us :O we ate dinner at carl's jr. Oh and Fer bought me an extra cool blue-squares shirt, LOVES IT!
May 3rd: I wore my new shirt hehe. we went to the shopping mall and everything was closed but some food joints, we had icecream, later we bought some tacos for dinner. Watched marley and me, note to self: never buy a dog that grows larger than me...
May 4th: I hate mondays...I had lots of work, I finished around 8, we found an excellent package to Veracruz (yeah, where the swine flu originated, talk about intelligent choice for a travel destination, but what the heck, we could use some time apart from industrialization...) I didn't see fer, his laptop is like having issues or something, but we managed to cyber-meet.
May 5th: Here I am, dreading tomorrow 'cause we'll go back to work as swine flu season has officially ended...for the time being. :( I don't want to have to wake up at 6... hehe waking up at 10 is a-ok by me :P and, Canada hasn't charged me with the application fee, so that means my application is still sitting at some desk collecting dust...let's hope everything gets back on track and that they speed up things at their front.
